Older Japanese Women Molested In Bus

DO, AND I gefilte-FISH ...

the beginning of the Torah portion of Vaiaqel passuk we find the following: "For six days your work will be done, but the seventh day will be for you a day of rest, Shabbat ... "(Shemot 35, 2).

From a careful reading two questions arise: why the Torah says not simply rest on the seventh day, without mentioning the work in six days earlier? Furthermore, it would be more correct to say "six days" instead of saying "for six days, your work will be done"?

hunt fish. A Shabbat is used to eat fish, which is characterized by an interesting phenomenon. If we open the belly of a big fish after they swallowed a fish, we note that the head of the fish is facing the tail of the predator. The fish meal is made up of the prey that was chasing (if so why would the head turned in the same direction), but by an unsuspecting little fish swimming peacefully and went directly into his mouth.

our efforts. Rabbenu Bakhya writes Khovot Ha-Levavot ( Bitakhon , chap. 4) that the successful person must understand that their success is not derived from a particular job, idea or technique used. The person has been successful because it wanted to Do in His infinite ways.

This is a concept of fundamental importance to our faith. While there is no strategy to ensure success, on the other hand, we are obliged to do our best to get a decent income. Do not want that because we rely on miracles. For this reason

passuk says "six days your work will be done." In other words, we are required to engage in work for six days a week, but we must realize that it is only an effort. The end result is entirely in the hands of God. Therefore understand why it is written "Your work will be done" and not "working."

Rav Shlomo Wolbar explains ( Alei Shor, Bitachon ve-Hishtadlut , chap. 2) that this is a concept that sometimes is very difficult to assimilate. For example, a farmer must do all the work of the field, but also must believe that God did not need his work to provide the grain they need to live. This car just because that's how God created the world.

Rilassiamoci ... We are in the hands of God. The Torah gives us a day to internalize this concept and change our outlook on life. During the Shabbat money does not count. The money spent to prepare the Shabbat not affect the annual income established Ha-Rosh Hashanah .

While in Shabbat we are able to understand this concept, it must be included during the other days of the week that we must engage in work. And eating fish on Shabbat do well to dwell on the fact that the fish must commit in chasing the little fish, but the food they need is to live somewhere else. So the world works six days a week. You can rest

really Shabbat, in the way intended by the Torah , only if we realize that the effort is in our hands, but not the result. If you internalize the concept Shabbat becomes a haven of relaxation.

And that is why you should not overworked. Those who work tirelessly think that the result of the work is in their hands and not that of God. Tension and stress arise when we feel that we no longer control we thought we have. But if we realize that things were never really in our hands, but in the hand of God, we get a state of complete mental and physical rest. Shabbat!

Shabbes Goy ? to a non-jew is forbidden to observe the Sabbath . A non-jew can see almost all other mitzwot , but not Shabbat ( Rambam Melachim 10, 9-10). Why?

The concept has been presented gives us the answer. The Shabbat is a special gift of God to His people. One day when we can experience the taste of ' Olam Ha-Ba (the world to come) a day when there is nothing practical to do.

But not a jew is unable to relinquish control. He works all seven days of the week for him because the control is the essence of life. It can not live even a moment without hearing that "there kochi-assa otzem Yadi Li et ha-ha-Zé Chayil", or "my strength and my efforts have created my wealth" (Devarim 8, 17).
